creature models

here's a model sheet for the creature in my previous artwork.
it is a rhinoceros-beetle-rhino
the placement of the limbs is an inspiration form the creatures in AVATAR
anatomically the creature wouldn't be able to fly but a piece of backstory could remedy that.... these creatures are bred to be fought, their wings clipped when they are young so they grow to unusual sizes that arent normal for them, much like the bulls bred for bullfights.

the model was based on a sketch but mostly figured out in 3d in 3dcoat.
the rest was mostly done in blender via multiresolution sculpting and a basic rig.
and photobashing and paintover in photoshop
